GiGroup is looking for a Legal Counsel for a multinational company. The main function will be to provide legal advice and assistance to the business and functions to support the strategic goals, ensuring compliance with relevant EU & national laws & regulations and internal policies. The main responsibilities are the following: Manage a variety of legal caseloads & tasks, generally with a minimum of supervision (except where subject otherwise requires), and which may include a variety of issues including contracts, marketing issues (including advertising & promotions), consumer rights, discounts & pricing policies, litigation/dispute management, corporate compliance, data protection. Participate in legal working groups within the EMEA territory & assist on Iberian or EMEA issues as required from time to time. Specially encourage and supervise the content and use of internal resources, as contractual models, legal content policies. Review and assess risk/legal implications of relevant company actions and activities, making recommendations as a trusted advisor to align with the laws.
